Charities

We support 3 charities each year - the children get involved with the decisions we make.  We include a local charity, a national charity and an international/global charity each year.

For academic year 2021/2022 Bishops Down Primary and Nursery School will be supporting the following:

We run fundraising events during the year for our chosen charities.  We feel that it is important to teach our pupils that they are part of a larger community and that everyone is responsible for those around them. By giving the value of charity a central role in the school, we hope to encourage our children to grow up with a healthy sense of compassion and a strong charitable spirit.
