From: Bishops Down Primary School Sent: 05 November 2018 16:48 To: Joanne Sheldon Subject: Imperial War Museum trip for Y6 Dear Y6 Parent/Guardian, As many of you will be aware our topic this term in year 6 is World War Two. As part of our topic we have been looking into possible trips we could do linked to this important period in our history. As a result we would like to take the children to the Imperial War Museum in London, travelling by train or coach; however we do understand that some parents can feel anxious about their children travelling into London. Therefore, we would like to know whether you would not want your child to attend a school trip which requires them to go into London. We ask that you let us know by Wednesday 7th November if you would NOT want your child to attend a school trip in London, you can email the school office or speak to Miss Ritchie/ Miss Brooks directly. We believe the trip will be hugely beneficial for the children, giving them new insight to this period and allowing them to access amazing artefacts, images and stories from WW2. Thank you for your support. Kindest regards, Miss A Ritchie and Miss A Brooks School Office Bishops Down Primary School Rydal Drive Tunbridge Wells Kent TN4 9SU Tel: 01892 520114 www.bishopsdownprimary.org
