Year 5

 Welcome to Redwood Class, Year 5!

 

Our class teacher is Miss Grimsey and we are supported by Miss Hunt (Teaching Assistant), Mrs Silburm (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) and Mrs Tizzard for some of our PE.

 

Our creative topic the Autumn terms is 'Pyramania!' We will be learning about Ancient Egyptians through a range of exciting activities that include Literacy, DT, Art and Design, History, Geography, ICT and Music.

 

In class we can receive smileys, suns and stars for great behaviour, attitude and excellence in our learning and effort in our learning.

We have star learner of the day each day and we can earn a certificate for this.

We also have a 'secret student' who is rewarded with a certificate for brilliant behviour if they have followed our agreed class responsibilities.

 

We are focusing on using the Olympic Values in our learning throughout the year as well as using our BLP muscles throughout our learning.
