My son and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their time at Bishops Down; it was an excellent academic and social experience for them. I became a parent governor to gain more awareness of the education system as a whole and have developed many new skills and strengthened existing ones.

I have been the chair since 2003 and have enjoyed the numerous challenges that the role brings. There is a also a great sense of satisfaction in knowing that the children will benefit from your actions and that together with others, you can help them receive the best possible education.

In 2006 I completed The Advanced Certificate in School Governance and this has helped me further my knowledge of school governance.
