Angela Applegate

I am a parent governor, with 3 children. My eldest has SEN and left Bishops Down in July 2009, and is now at Bennett Memorial School. I  have two boys, currently in years 1 and 5 at Bishops Down.

I have six years experience in the I.T. industry, mainly in marketing. I also taught maths and I.T. in secondary schools for seven years. During this time, I also ran Young Enterprise and Duke of Edinburgh schemes.

I have been a member of the PSA at Bishops Down for seven years, two of those as chair. In December 2008 I was delighted to be elected to the new and challenging, yet rewarding role as Parent Governor.
